Air Arabia is to add another European destination to its route network with a new direct service between Sharjah and Sarajevo beginning on 18 March.
Adel Ali, group chief executive officer of Air Arabia, commented, “Following 12 months of significant expansion, Air Arabia is delighted to begin 2016 with the launch of a new European service. Sarajevo is a great all-year-round destination and we anticipate very healthy demand for the service when it launches in March.”
Initially, flights will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing Sharjah at 08:15 and arriving at Sarajevo International Airport at 12:20. The return flights will leave Sarajevo at 13:10 and will land in Sharjah at 20:35. All times are local.
Air Arabia added 23 routes to its network in 2015, including becoming the first low-fare carrier from the Middle East and Africa to enter the Chinese market with the launch of regular non-stop services to Urumqi, the largest city in Western China.
