Aerostar maintenance for Fastjet A319s

Romania’s Aerostar has won a contract from Fastjet for the heavy maintenance of two of the airline’s fleet of three Airbus A319s.

The two aircraft have already arrived at Aerostar’s Bacau facility for ‘C’ checks, with the first having been redelivered.

Announcing the new contract, Remus Vlad, Aerostar’s civil MRO business manager, commented, “We have worked hard to secure this new contract from Fastjet and look forward to providing a first-class service to this important new customer.”

Dave Thomas, head of training and technical support for Fastjet added, “We selected Aerostar for this heavy maintenance work following a combination of recommendations from other airlines and an attractive price for the work.”
