BOC Aviation has announced that Aeromexico has become a new customer with the lease of three new Embraer 190 aircraft for Aeromexico Connect, with deliveries scheduled between April and June this year.
“We are delighted to work with Aeromexico in expanding its network with the E190, and look forward to developing our business with Aeromexico further in the future,” remarked Steven Townend, chief commercial officer for Europe, Americas and Africa for BOC Aviation. “BOC Aviation has now placed all of its 15 firm orders of E190 aircraft, a milestone for the company.”
“We are pleased to have BOC Aviation, a leading global aircraft lessor, as a partner in our expansion plans,” commented Andres Conesa, Aeromexico chief executive officer. “The E190 has been, for several years, a growth driver for Aeromexico. We now operate 21 E190 aircraft, which has allowed us to cover important domestic and international routes in the United States and Central America. The addition of these three new aircraft will consolidate Aeromexico as the best option to fly into Mexico and from Mexico to the world.”
