Russia’s Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) and Aero Mongolia have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the Mongolian carrier to add a pair of new Sukhoi Superjet 100s to its fleet.

The LoI flags up the intention of the companies to sign an agreement before the end of this year for two SSJ100s, for delivery in 2019. “We are ready for the negotiations with our foreign partners from Aero Mongolia and we, on our side, are ready to offer them the SSJ100 able to resolve their business issues considering the current route network, as well as after its planned extension,” said SCAC’s president, Alexander Rubtsov.

The airline is based at Ulan-Bator International Airport and flies domestically as well as to its nearby regional neighbours.
