Following the deregulation of traffic rights to Tel Aviv, Aegean Airlines is planning to begin daily flights to the city from Larnaca, Cyprus, as well as reinstating a thrice-weekly service between Larnaca and Kiev.
Both routes, beginning on 29 March and 30 March respectively, will be operated using an Airbus A320.
“The strategy for our growth from Cyprus continues, investing in the quality relationship we have established with the Cypriot market,” commented Aegean's CEO, Dimitris Gerogiannis. “The launch of direct flights from Larnaca to Tel Aviv represents another important step towards the implementation of our company's strategic plan. At the same time, these new flights will support business growth and the increase of tourism to Cyprus.”
