Bangkok Airways has signed an agreement to utilise Accertify’s fraud prevention platform.
“We selected Accertify because of its comprehensive, flexible and data-driven approach to combating fraudulent bookings,” explained Ariya Prasarttong-Osoth, vice-president–sales at Bangkok Airways. “In particular, the integration of Accertify’s fraud-fighting platform with a leading global distribution system provides a real advantage over other marketplace offerings because it allows submission of booking data directly into the fraud prevention process for streamlined screening and reviews.”
“The signing of Bangkok Airways illustrates Accertify’s continued strength in providing online fraud prevention to customers in the airline sector,” stressed Jeff Liesendahl, Accertify CEO. “We also welcome Bangkok Airways to our growing list of customers in Asia-Pacific and look forward to Accertify’s continued expansion across the region as airlines, retailers and other merchants globally seek more effective ways to stop fraudsters.”
Accertify, an American Express company, provides a single-source solution to fight fraud across all payment brands, and to reduce order rejections and manual review rates in order to help merchants maximise revenues. Its software platform enables both fraud prevention and chargeback management, and also supports enterprise fraud management, detecting fraud and abuse in new accounts, existing account activities and other transactions.
