A J Walter Aviation has been awarded a seven-year contract to provide power-by-the-hour type support to Korean low-fare airline Eastar Jet, covering the airline’s current fleet of six Boeing 737NGs.
Eastar Jet was launched in 2007 and currently operates services to regional destinations including Gimpo, Gunsan and Cheongju. The airline’s main operating base is Gimpo International Airport, Seoul and AJW will position stock there to service the fleet as well as providing further direct support from its Singapore facility.
