Adepoju’s previous position was as chief operating officer for AIA, a company which was acquired by GEE in 2013. As part of his new role, he will report directly to Global Eagle’s CEO, Dave Davis.
Davis commented on Adepoju’s proven impact on GEE, saying he “has played an instrumental role in growing Global Eagle's client base and brings a wealth of experience from the airline industry”.
Davis added, "He has worked directly with a number of our customers through his prior endeavours and is recognised as a leader in our industry.”
With an honours degree in Manufacturing Engineering and a Masters in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University, Adepoju went on to found IMDC, an organisation that advises companies on optimising investment in passenger systems. Prior to IMDC, Adepoju was responsible for Strategy & Development at Spafax.
