Luxair Luxembourg Airlines has selected the Rockwell Collins second generation dPAVES single-aisle inflight entertainment system for three of its Boeing 737 NG aircraft.
Recent enhancements to dPAVES include a high definition media server (HDMS), and an updated touch-screen flight attendant entertainment control panel with USB ports for easier data loading and offloading.
With an easy-to-use, intuitive interface and on-the-fly configuration control, Rockwell Collins says, the system’s touch-screen flight attendant entertainment control panel provides space and weight savings, while also reducing workload for cabin crews and maintenance teams.
Additionally, dPAVES enables airlines to handle non-encrypted content independent of the Rockwell Collins content management system, giving airlines the flexibility to respond to commercial opportunities as they arise by replacing content locally.
