UTair Aviation (UTair) has expanded its contract with Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. (Global Eagle) by installing the in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) specialist’s services on a further 60 aircraft.
The airline’s total number of aircraft equipped with Global Eagle’s IFEC offering will come to 69. The additional installations will encompass 20 A321-200’s and 40 B737NG aircraft. UTair passengers will have access to Global Eagle’s satellite-driven, broadband web system and IFE media content.

Installation on the UTair fleet will begin in January 2014.
