Paradigm Tech has acquired a US Patent for its AdonisOne open, portable in-flight entertainment system.

US Patent No. 10,193,945 covers systems and methods for distributing a full range of media to computing devices on private and commercial aircraft.

Paradigm claims the AdonisOne line of portable IFE systems is the first in the industry to provide in-flight entertainment via Wi-Fi using a single-self-contained portable device that’s compact enough to fit in a briefcase. This proprietary technology makes it possible for aircraft operators and owners to broadcast media for viewing on up to 500 personal devices per wireless IFE system. AdonisOne also offers a real-time moving map display via built-in GPS antenna. Secure client-side administration gives airlines the ability to tailor their interface to align with their own brand colours and logo and incorporate a custom welcome message and introduction video.~

“We’re thrilled to pioneer the first portable IFE system, which addresses growing customer demand for in-flight entertainment during private and commercial airline travel,” explained Robert T. Valentine, co-founder and president of Paradigm Tech. “Not only have we saved airlines tens of thousands of dollars on the installation of in-flight connectivity infrastructure but we’ve also opened new revenue opportunities should they choose to push custom ads to passengers. Because AdonisOne is portable, certification is not required.”
