Turkish selects STELIA for bespoke business class seating

STELIA Aerospace has been selected by Turkish Airlines to provide bespoke business class seating for its newly ordered B787-9 and A350-900 aircraft.

The new seating will be fitted on the 25 Boeing 787-9 and 25 Airbus A350-900 aircraft recently ordered by the airline. Deliveries are set to begin in the summer of 2019.

The new business class chair, ‘Full Flat, Full Access, Full Privacy,” has been tailored for Turkish Airlines and features full-flat beds, 44″ legroom, adjustable dividers between alternating rows for centre seats to customise privacy level and lowerable armrests.

Other details include larger storage spaces, built-in reading lights, and a large meal table. The seats are also upholstered in Alcantara padding, a material used for sports cars interiors. Seats also features an 18” high-definition touch screen monitor.
