Denmark’s Thrane & Thrane has appointed four new dealers in the US and Canada to support demand for its satellite communications solutions, including the AVIATOR SwiftBroadband product range.
“The introduction of Inmarsat SwiftBroadband has been a major step forward for aeronautical satellite communications and has made broadband internet available to a significantly wider range of aircraft,” says Andy Beers, director of aeronautical sales for the Americas. "The expansion of our US aero dealer network supports our AVIATOR SwiftBroadband product range, ensuring availability of new and current systems, as well as optimising customer service and support. Our new dealers have demonstrated exceptional knowledge and experience of aeronautical satellite communications and we are looking forward to working with them in what is an exciting time for the industry."
Field Aviation of Mississauga, Ontario, Foxtronics in Dallas, Texas, Mid-Canada Mod Center at Malton, Ontario and Western Aircraft of Boise, Idaho, will be responsible for sales and after-sales services including product installation and support.
Thrane & Thrane introduced the AVIATOR brand across its SwiftBroadband product portfolio in April 2010, when it launched the AVIATOR 200 SwiftBroadband solution. The existing Aero-SB Lite offering became the Thrane & Thrane AVIATOR 300 with intermediate gain antenna and the AVIATOR 350 with high gain antenna, while the flagship Aero-SB+ became the AVIATOR 700.
