TAAG Angola Airlines has taken delivery of its first of two new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft equipped with the Thales TopSeries IFE system.Angola’s flag carrier is the first African airline to purchase and operate the Boeing 777-300ER.Installed at every seat, the TopSeries system will enable passengers to enjoy the experience of a wide range of entertainment and information using slim-line passenger control units and touch screen displays with privacy filters.In-seat screen sizes vary from 15.4” in first and business class and 8.9” in economy. Features include the ASXI moving map, a games library, meal and beverage menu selections, onboard shopping catalogue, survey application, and picture viewer which allows passengers to view on the seat display video from their personal devices.Mr. Pimentel Araújo, CEO of TAAG declared, “As the country’s biggest airline, we are very proud to have this new aircraft with the TopSeries system available to our passengers. These will be used for route expansion to destinations such as China and the United States.
