SR Technics has signed a turnkey cabin modification integration contract with Intrepid Aviation which will see the former manage and implement the design engineering and embodiment work required for the redesign and enhancement of seven of the Intrepid’s Airbus A330 cabin interiors.
SR Technics’ engineering centres in Dublin and Zurich will formulate all the complex cabin modification design specifications, supply chain management sourcing and organisational planning. Working closely with the Airworthiness Authorities, SR Technics will obtain all the required Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approvals.
Then company’s Zurich centre will then perform the cabin modification installation, including fitting new in-flight entertainment systems and wireless capabilities, on the seven Airbus A330s. Additionally, SR Technics will conduct heavy maintenance checks and aircraft painting as part of the contract.
