Content specialist Spafax has exclusively secured bespoke BBC Radio shows, including Radio 4’s Ed Reardon’s Week, I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue and national favourite Desert Island Discs, to play on board British Airways long haul flights.
BA’s passengers can also enjoy a selection of BBC radio plays, documentaries and up-to-date podcasts such as Excess Baggage, The Film Programme, In Business and The Bottom Line.
In a separate deal Spafax has partnered with Penguin Books to supply some popular Penguin Talking Book titles, including Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility and Alain de Botton’s The Architecture of Happiness.
For younger passengers Spafax has teamed up with The Story Mouse to provide a collection of classic fairytales, while Penguin supplies classics such as Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows and Sue Townsend’s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾.
Passengers who want to learn as they fly have the latest Harper Collins Language Learning lessons at their disposal.
