The US Patent and Trademark Office has granted two additional utility patents to SmartTray International, whose patented tray tables have been deployed by United Airlines in its premium class cabin and InterJet in economy.

SmartTray mobile-device-friendly tray tables facilitate hands-free use of portable electronic devices without taking up usable space on tray tables.
The rotatable PED support apparatus expands and retracts automatically to the thickness of travellers’ electronic devices in vehicle seat tray tables and vehicle seats, and feature clamping, kick-stands, slide, grip, and tilt support, USB/wireless charging and docking, removable rechargeable batteries, and fully integrated electronic tablet in vehicle seat tray tables.
