Singapore Airlines will equip its future fleet of A350 XWB aircraft, configured for medium-haul operations, with the AVANT IFE system from Thales In-Flyt Experience. Ka-band connectivity will also be provided.
Delivery of the system will begin in 2018.The fleet will be equipped with Thales' latest AVANT monitors, the most lightweight ever deployed, featuring full high-definition video and integrating Avii, the latest evolution of the Thales Touch Passenger Media Unit, in the premium cabins.
