Silver Air to roll out Gogo Biz IFC fleet-wide

tSilver Air, a private aircraft management company and charter operator, has confirmed plans to outfit its entire fleet with the Gogo Biz in-flight connectivity (IFC) solution, allowing passengers to browse the web, send and receive emails and log onto corporate VPNs using their personal electronic devices.ttThe company has already completed the installation of Gogo Biz on all of its heavy, super-mid and midsize jets, including Gulfstream GV, Gulfstream G450, Gulfstream GIV, Citation X, Lear 60, Beachjet 400 and Citation CJ2 models.ttAdditional Silver Air managed aircraft that are in the process of receiving in-flight Wi-Fi capabilities from Gogo Biz include Citation V, Citation II, Citation CJ2, Citation I, and Phenom 100“The private aviation industry is changing, and our clients have come to expect mobile internet on-board the aircraft to keep them connected and productive while in the air,” said Jason Middleton, Silver Air’s CEO. “The people at Silver Air view ourselves as an extension of our clients’ teams, and we understand the importance of our clients’ business and personal travel needs.
