Scoot, the Singapore-based low-fare airline, is renaming its enhanced economy product to “better reflect the product”.
In a statement on its website, the airline confirmed that ScootBiz will be renamed to ScootPlus in a move that aims to “better reflect the product customers will experience on board.”
The change will take effect from September 2, pitching ScootPlus as a “fuss-free, upsized Scoot experience, equivalent to a Premium Economy product.”
As with ScootBiz, ScootPlus will feature wide premium leather seats with double leg room, 30 kg of check-in baggage and 15 kg of cabin baggage as well as priority check-in and boarding.
It will also include a choice of meal and beverage, 30MB Wi-Fi and in-seat power.
Scoot’s enhanced product offers full leather seats with at least 38 inches of legroom, 22 inches of width and 6 inches of recline with fully adjustable headrests and legrests.
