Singapore low-fare airline, Scoot, has chosen the Ai portable inflight entertainment (IFE) offering developed by Bluebox Avionics for deployment across its medium and long?haul fleet.
Available via secure iPad devices, the Ai system provides Scoot passengers with access to the latest Hollywood early window content as well as a range of other movie, TV, audio, reading and gaming content. With over 20 hours of battery life, Bluebox claims the system allows iPads to remain on the aircraft between periodic content updates simplifying logistics.
“The Bluebox Ai IFE solution enables us to deliver further value to our customers in a package that is straightforward to manage,” commented CEO of Scoot, Campbell Wilson. “It will satisfy our current need and is able to support our future plans for our inflight entertainment offering.”
“Our global support and service infrastructure ensures that our airline clients are able to deliver the very latest and stimulating content to their passengers in a package that is backed by unrivalled support,” declared David Brown, Joint Managing Director of Bluebox. “We are delighted that Bluebox Ai has been selected by as progressive an airline as Scoot. We have very similar philosophies and a shared focus on excellence that provides the basis of a great, long term relationship.“
