Satcom Direct has announced a series of complimentary in-flight connectivity (IFC) workshops to take place in South Africa.
The workshops will discuss trends and mandates for business aviation, cost effective systems for internet connectivity in the cabin, and updates from Satcom Direct’s connectivity partners. Delegates can also request aircraft satcom system checks where a company expert will assess and review the systems on board their aircraft.
The first workshop is scheduled for 23 October 2015 in Cape Town and is promoted as part of the company’s continued connectivity support for business aviation developments in Africa.
Alongside this, the Satcom Direct Training Programme will be delivering the Foundation Course for Satcom Aviation in Johannesburg on 20-21 October. This will cover the fundamentals of satellite communications in aviation, including satcom constellation overviews and troubleshooting techniques.
Chris Moore, CCO of Satcom Direct International says: “We are extremely pleased to be playing our part to support the development of business aviation in Africa. We hope the workshops will support better understanding of the value of on-board connectivity. Training is a very important part of our offering and something we know that our customers really value.”
