Rockwell Collins is to provide its FalconCabin HD+ entertainment system and cabin management system (CMS) for Dassault’s new Falcon Jet 5X and Falcon Jet 8X business aircraft.
The Venue-based CMS system will provide flexible customisation capabilities, easily controlled interfaces and high-endconsumer technologies. With programmable content options, the system also features Rockwell Collins’ interactive Airshow 3D moving map.
With this agreement, Rockwell Collins is the sole provider of cabin systems for Dassault's new aircraft fleet.
“Falcon Jet cabins are renowned for exceptional comfort and performance, and our customised cabin solution for the 5X and 8X, which is based on our industry-leading Venue system, will utilise advanced technologies to create this environment for passengers to work, rest and play,” said Greg Irmen, vice president and general manager, flight controls and information systems for Rockwell Collins. “Our many years of working with Dassault were key to this selection and we look forward to elevating this relationship to a whole new level.”
