Pascall Electronics Ltd. (Pascall), a subsidiary of Emrise Corporation, has received an aggregate of $1.2 million in orders for electronic devices to be used with in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) systems onboard commercial aircraft.
The group of orders includes three customers, one of which is with a long-standing client in the IFEC market and valued at $500,000. Shipments are expected to commence early next year and be completed by the end of 2014.
“We believe the demand for IFEC systems is also being favourably impacted by industry forecasts for increases in future aircraft deliveries,” said Emrise Corporation’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Carmine T. Oliva. “As a supplier to major OEMs that provide advanced IFEC systems to airlines, we are benefiting from that demand.”
