Cobham is showcasing AS270, its new advanced cabin server for use on commercial and VIP air transport, at Paris International Air show.
The server, produced by Cobham Aerospace Communications Business Unit, is the newest member of the company’s JetLAN family of servers and routers which are already in operation on Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Beechcraft aircraft.
Key features of the AS270 advanced cabin server include the latest Intel (R) i7 Quad-core processor, which provides maximum resources for the data acquisition and processing involved with in-flight entertainment and connectivity, as well as cabin management.
AS270 has also been designed, built and qualified to adhere to stringent avionic standards for safety and reliability purposes.
