Panasonic successfully installs eX2 solution on Air France’s B777?300ER

Panasonic Avionics Corporation has completed installation of its eX2 IFEC system on an Air France B777?300ER, which is scheduled to enter service on 20th December 2010.This is the first of 11 new Air France B777 aircraft that will be delivered with Panasonic’sIFEC solution, offering passengers a unique set of features and benefits as well as access to a wide variety of audio and video on demand (AVOD).The system also provides a robust application and communication hosting platform that will allow Air France to custom tailor their IFE solution. Passengers can use the system to view photographs and listen to MP3 files loaded on their own personal USB storage device. Business travellers can work on Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents directly from the IFE system.Christian Herzog, Senior Vice?President Marketing, Air France ?
