Philippine Airlines is introducing a new Premium Economy experience as part of a series of product innovations being rolled out by the carrier in an ongoing program to obtain a 5-Star quality service rating.
The new Premium Economy will be available on flights to and from various domestic destinations utilising the Q400NG, Airbus A321 Classic and A330 Bi-Class aircraft, as well as internationally on onboard Airbus A350 and selected A330 aircraft.
PAL president and chief operating officer Jaime J. Bautista said: “With the new Premium Economy experience, we are inviting our customers to enjoy an elevated level of comfort and convenience. This service innovation will build on the foundation of our solid network of international and domestic routes, which in turn are made possible by a fleet of versatile, advanced and customer-friendly airplanes.”
This new Premium Economy experience is the result of ideas and positive feedback from a cross-section of PAL passengers on how to take the Premium Economy service to the next level.
On international flights passengers will enjoy extra spacious premium seats featuring 38-inch seat pitch, 8-inch recline, built-in leg rests and footrests, and multiple stowage areas. An intimate and exclusive cabin features 13.3-inch myPAL eSuite personal screens with over 300 hours of in-flight entertainment; in-flight Wi-Fi; premium in-flight service and amenities, such as welcome drinks and refreshing hot towels upon boarding, as well as an overnight amenity kit and premium meal service crafted by world-class chefs.
On domestic Premium Economy flights, passengers will enjoy extra-legroom seat rows near the front of the aircraft, welcome drinks and refreshing hot towels as well a hot sandwich with a choice of assorted drinks.
