Comlux is to install OnAir’s inflight mobile communications service on its flagship Airbus A320 Prestige.
The long-range aircraft outfitted by Comlux America Completion Center, will complement the Comlux VIP widebody Airbus fleet and will offer passengers a state-of-the-art cabin environment including air-to-ground communications capabilities.
Passengers will be able to stay connected inflight using their own mobile phones or BlackBerry-type devices to make and receive inflight phone calls, send and receive emails and text messages, and access the internet.
"Comlux passengers aboard this prestigious aircraft have a great need to stay connected at all times, so we are very pleased to enable them to do just that through OnAir voice and data connectivity services," commented Benoit Debains, CEO of OnAir. "These are ideally suited for travellers’ preferred communications tools."
The two companies are planning to co-operate in promoting OnAir services to the VIP and corporate jet sector.
