MAC Aero Interiors signs TUI for lavatory retrofits

MAC Aero Interiors has signed a four-year contract with TUI Group for the refurbishment and retrofit of its Boeing 767’s lavatories.

The new co-operation between TUI Group and MAC Aero Interiors covers the production of 20 new lavatory units for TUI’s Boeing 767-300 fleet.

The new lavatory kits, to be developed and produced by MAC Aero Interiors, are to contain LED lights, mirrors, Corian worktops, new floor pans amongst other features.

The kits for the first two aircraft will be produced in 2019, with the remaining ones in 2020. Following the delivery, MAC Aero Interiors will support the refurbished aircraft with lavatory spare parts supply and maintenance.

We are happy to contribute to the task by providing the group’s fleet with a fresh and modern design for the aircraft lavatories.”

All the kits will be provided with EASA Form 1 and Service Bulletins, as well as installation instructions to allow the customer to choose an MRO to carry out the modifications and during the installation, the company will provide additional support to the customer and its MRO if needed and ensure parts supply afterwards.
