Kenya Airways for IFE Services’s content and technical support

Kenya Airways has selected IFE Services for in-flight entertainment content and to manage the carrier’s digital encoding and audio video on-demand (AVOD) requirements.From July 2011, IFE Services will supply Kenya Airways with a wide selection of the latest Hollywood Blockbusters and classic movies as well as regional films from India and Africa. The IFE package will also include a broad selection of TV programmes with genres covering sports, comedies, dramas, business and documentaries. In addition, passengers will be able to enjoy a broad variety of African music as well as jazz, dancehall, easy listening, classical, rock, pop and R&B tracks. The tailored in-flight entertainment content will run on a combination of IFE systems across the airline’s entire fleet of B777s, B767s and B737s. These include the Rockwell Collins dTES AVOD platform as well as overhead and personal TV (PTV) systems.Andy McEwan, Managing Director of IFE Services commented, “Adding such a prestigious and successful airline as Kenya Airways to our client base is tremendous news for IFE Services.
