It’s just over two weeks until the Inflight IFEC Pavilion, Workshop and Awards will be held at the Aircraft Interiors Middle East event, Dubai, on 2 and 3 February.
The Workshop and Awards ceremony on 2 February will consist of three educational sessions – chaired by either Inflight’s editor Liz Moscrop or co-founder of Valour Consultancy Craig Foster – featuring debates from thought-leaders in the in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) industry.
These sessions, ‘Why fly with Wi-Fi’; ‘Discontented – seat back or in the lap?’; and ‘Retro'fit for Purpose?’ will see input from key industry experts, but the Inflight events team is also hoping other industry colleagues will join in with thoughts of their own. All questions ahead of time can be emailed to the Event Director, Becky Howells on firstname.lastname@example.org.
The awards will then be presented across eight categories: Best seat-centric IFE system; Best handheld and/or wireless IFE system; Innovation in commercial airline cabins; Middle East content innovation; Best global connectivity provider; Innovation in corporate jet cabins; Best airline IFEC provider for the Middle East; and Airline of the Year (Inflight’s own award).
HMG Aerospace’s publisher, Becky Howells, says, “The level of interest this year is remarkable. We have a strong showing both in terms of who is on the floor and the workshop participants. We are also delighted with the standard of entries for the awards.”
The IFEC Pavilion offers a designated area where leading IFEC manufacturers will showcase their latest innovations and product developments. Leading industry suppliers already participating include Thales, Rockwell Collins, Astronics, OnAir, digEcor, Gogo, Global Eagle Entertainment, Zodiac Aerospace and Lumexis.
Attendance is free and registrations can be simply processed online at www.inflightworkshop.com. The Inflight team looks forward to seeing you there.
