Interactive Mobility is expanding its Flymingo streaming service to business aviation.

The service enables passengers to connect to a local cloud via a box to access media content, directly on their devices.

Flymingo, a global offering of wireless IFE , includes three solutions: Flymingo Box, a small server enabling to rapidly deploy a highly performing streaming service; Flymingo Next, an advanced embedded server for connected planes; and Flymingo Connect whose IFEC portal is integrated on airlines’ existing infrastructure to provide passengers a new entertainment experience.

“The business aviation market continues its expansion and needs digital solutions to provide a high-quality customised offering,” explained Tanguy Morel, Interactive Mobility CEO. “Flymingo brings operators an innovative, attractive and rapid to deploy solution, enabling them to differentiate their offering and improve the economics of a business aviation fleet. Contributing to in-flight comfort, it is an alternative to screens or in-flight connectivity which can represent costly and technical solutions for aircraft manufacturers and fleet operators.”
