Inflight Productions launches YouTube content with Air New Zealand

Inflight Productions is claiming to be the first to offer YouTube content as inflight entertainment with an exclusive launch onboard Air New Zealand’s B777-300 fleet.Due to go into service this month, Air New Zealand will have a dedicated website, designed and managed by Inflight Productions and powered by YouTube, allowing passengers to upload, watch and share videos.

Up to 100 videos will be chosen by Inflight Productions and Air New Zealand each week to feature onboard as part of the airline’s inflight entertainment programme with theaim to enrich the passenger experience and create a service that is in keeping with today’s media and social networking trends.Managing Director of Inflight Productions, Tony Taverner commented, “We are delighted to be collaborating with YouTube in this world first IFE innovation.”
