On winning the award, Liz said, “It is an honour and privilege to be recognised in this way by such a prestigious airline. I feel enormously grateful to be part of the dynamic team at Inflight. Our aim is to report accurately on the passenger experience, so it is wonderful that we have been appreciated in this way. I am really looking forward to my next visit to Oman to see how far the airline has come. Shukria.”
Liz’s award-winning article, which featured in Inflight magazine, titled ‘An auspicious Oman’ focused on Oman Air’s ‘transformation from a small regional airline into a multi-award-winning force to be reckoned with,’ through becoming ‘the first carrier in the world to offer both in-flight mobile phone and in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity.’
