On 5 November 2015, Inflight Peripherals (IFPL) provided its one-millionth part to Panasonic Avionics under an ongoing relationship between the companies that spans a decade.
The part in question is an IFPL Integrated Jack Unit (IJU) designed and built in collaboration with Panasonic for integration into their eXLite IFE Eco 9 Monitor. Panasonic’s Mark Jennings and Teruki Hisakawa were presented with it in a presentation case by IFPL founder and managing director Geoff Underwood as part of a celebration at the latter’s offices on the Isle of Wight in the UK.
Underwood averred, “This is a significant milestone for us at IFPL, reaffirming our relationship and reflecting Panasonics commitment to provide world-class IFEC solutions to the world’s airlines.”
IFPL’s now maintains a Strategic Partner relationship with Panasonic Avionics.
