Inflight Productions (IFP) has announced the addition of former British Airways (BA) IFE executive, Dee Brady, in the role of Director of Marketing.
IFP plans to strengthen its focus on airlines and their in-flight entertainment objectives. Dee will lead the company’s marketing initiatives and strategic move toward meeting the needs of airlines in engaging passengers within the in-flight entertainment (IFE) environment.
Dee worked with British Airways for 20 years in a number of roles before becoming in-flight entertainment Publishing and Media Manager in 2002. She led the airline to define the passenger experience through a robust IFE content and branding strategy, and participated in the introduction of new IFE systems, their user interfaces and applications design as well as operational delivery processes. Dee also managed all magazine flagship publications and related media sales revenues for the airline.
Dee also gained a broad industry knowledge base whilst serving on the board of the WAEA (now APEX) from 2004 to 2008 and as President of the association in 2006-2007. More recently Dee has been working as an independent consultant with IMG World and Panasonic Avionics Corporation in addition to IFP.
“We are delighted to have Dee on board as Director of Marketing,” commented CEO of IFP, Rob Hunter. “Dee has such a broad understanding of the airline environment and the need to understand how to engage passengers has been long needed within IFP. Her expertise in the passenger environment, hardware and technical delivery, content licencing background and a strong marketing backbone, will be a tremendous asset to the company in its new direction.”
