IFE Services reaches 20 years in business

UK in-flight entertainment provider, IFE Services, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year having established business with its first client in 1992.During this time, IFE Services has grown its business to offer in-flight entertainment content to airline clients such as South African Airways, LAN Airlines, bmi and Singapore Airlines. According to IFE Services, 12 new airline accounts were won in 2011.As well as supplying entertainment content for embedded and wireless IFE systems on board aircraft, the company provides portable in-flight entertainment solutions such as the iPad and Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP). IFE Services also produces original productions for airlines such as safety films, promotional videos, entertainment guides and GUI design and development. With its head office based in the UK, IFE Services also has an encoding lab in Irvine, California and operations in Madrid, Singapore, Santiago and Johannesburg.“We’re very proud to have reached this milestone in the in-flight entertainment industry,” remarked the CEO of IFE Services, Andy McEwan. “There are many factors that can be attributed to our success over the years but underlying them all is an unwavering commitment to our clients’ needs.
