Hong Kong Airlines has selected Global Eagle Entertainment (GEE) to provide in-flight entertainment (IFE) content for the carrier’s seat-back screens and wireless audio video on-demand devices to improve passenger experience.
Stanley Kan, director of service delivery for Hong Kong Airlines, commented, “Hong Kong Airlines has received a four-star rating from SKYTRAX for three consecutive years and we aim to continue to provide the same level of excellent service and quality IFE to our passengers with our content partner GEE.”
The IFE content will include a selection of regional and international films, TV programming and audio, as well as digital publications including titles such as the Asia Review of Books.
“We’re thrilled to offer Hong Kong Airlines a robust IFE programme and to support the airline’s wireless strategy through relevant and engaging content services,” remarked Walé Adepoju, executive VP and chief commercial officer at GEE.
