Honeywell Aerospace (Honeywell) is celebrating the 100th delivery of a business aircraft fitted with its Ovation Select in-flight entertainment (IFE) and cabin management system (CMS) after Standard Aero chose the solution for a Dassault Falcon 900.
Ovation Select enables business jet passengers to control the cabin environment. As well as using the main controls, they can integrate personal electronic devices to change the lighting and temperature, connect to in-flight Wi-Fi and stream high-definition video and audio.
Honeywell has also recently begun testing and integrating wearable technology – such as Google Glass – into the Ovation Select system.
The company says there are now over 2,000 business jets flying with its CMS systems worldwide.
