GuestLogix Inc. has struck a four year renewal and expansion deal with a leading carrier in the Asia Pacific region which represents over 20 million passenger trips every year.
The airline will continue to use ancillary merchandising technology from GuestLogix, including platform and POS handheld devices, which will be upgraded.
“With this renewal and technology upgrade, we will implement our PCI-compliant handheld POS devices to enable Chip & PIN payments onboard, further protecting both the airline and its passengers,” explained Brett Proud, CEO of GuestLogix.
The retail technology company has also announced the intention to deploy its ‘Ancillary Insights Platform’ in order to optimise the airline’s onboard store performance whilst improving transparency, thereby “enhancing its ability to make informed business decisions,” hopes Proud.
