GuestLogix (GXI) has announced that Brett Proud is retiring from his position as chief executive officer and director, effective immediately.
Under his leadership, GuestLogix pioneered the technology enabling airline passengers to use their credit cards on-board their flights as well as creating the leading global payment processing engine for ancillary revenues in the travel industry.
"As a founder of GuestLogix, it has been a privilege to see the company grow and to lead such a great organization with a strong future," said Proud. "I want to thank our outstanding employees for their continued hard work, support and dedication. We have built an employee and leadership team that is second to none. I am confident this team is fully capable of continuing our growth and building on our past successes."
John Gillbery, an independent director, will serve as interim CEO, until a permanent replacement is found, overseeing day-to-day operations, while chairman Louis Belanger-Martin will play a larger role in both the strategic direction of the business, as well as the oversight of critical client and partnership relationships.
