Flower & White’s meringue treats will be taking off with Virgin Atlantic, enabling passengers onboard international flights to enjoy the unique snacks.
The meringue company, Flower & White, is supplying the airline’s international flights via in-flight concessionaire 3Sixty Duty Free.
The Raspberry Meringue Bar will form part of Virgin Atlantic’s in-flight Gastro Movie Box.
The meringue bars come in 100% paper recyclable, plastic-free packaging and are also gluten-free, low-fat and suitable for vegetarians.
“Being with a hugely popular airline such as Virgin is a brilliant step for us and it’s great for us to know that passengers on all Virgin Atlantic flights are being able to taste our products,” said Brian Crowther, one half of the family-run company. “People will be able to taste how good our meringue bar while on their trip and our hope is that they return home and see what else we have to offer.”
Flower & White first took flight with Thomas Cook Airlines in 2019, supplying its Raspberry Meringue Bar before the company’s collapse in September.
