Smart technology pioneer FliteTrak is following up agreements and joint venture partnerships with manufacturers and businesses in Europe, North America and the Far East, after a successful Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX).

Joint managing director Andrew Barnett said, “We made some high quality contacts and held some very promising discussions with seat manufacturers and aircraft manufacturers.

“We signed non-disclosure agreements and are following up on potential joint venture partnerships with companies worldwide.”

The company used the event to launch its new ViatorComfort system which is based upon its iblox intelligent remote monitoring technology. The only working intelligent technology of its kind, ViatorComfort measures and maps pressure points on airline seat cushions.

Barnett added, “ViatorComfort will allow seating companies and airlines to deliver even greater comfort, especially on long-haul flights.
