Elliott Aviation, an authorised Embraer Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 service centre, has received a supplemental type certificate (STC) from the FAA for the installation of Gogo Business Aviation’s in-flight Wi-Fi products on Phenom 300 aircraft.
The STC allows all in-flight Wi-Fi standards – including A, B, G, and N – to be activated. In addition to in-flight connectivity, the STC also permits operation of Gogo Business Aviation’s UCS 5000 all-in-one smart router and media server, which is a vital component of the Gogo Vision cabin entertainment system.
“As we are an authorised service centre for the Phenom 300, the most delivered business jet in the world in 2013 and 2014, it made sense for us to complete this STC,” said Mark Wilken, VP avionics programmes and operational logistics for Elliott Aviation. “This will allow passengers to conduct their daily business in-flight.”
