Entertainment in Motion (EIM), a subsidiary of Global Eagle Entertainment (GEE), has announced a global licensing agreement with Starz Worldwide Distribution, the global television licensing arm of Starz, to add its worldwide catalogue to EIM’s content portfolio.
The deal gives EIM access to STARZ Original series, made-for-television films, Anchor Bay Entertainment content including TV/movie/fitness content and anime for distribution to airlines, ships and other non-theatrical markets around the world. Under the agreement, EIM and Starz will also work jointly to cultivate opportunities to promote the STARZ brand on airline in-flight entertainment (IFE) platforms and other non-theatrical markets.
