Stage, the wireless in-flight entertainment platform from Collins Aerospace has been installed factory-direct on a new aircraft for the first time.
The system has been enhanced to include both wireless and wired options for entertainment, information and business.
Both milestones took place on a Falcon, which recently entered service after delivery by Dassault Aviation. Traditionally, Stage provided customers access to thousands of wireless in-flight entertainment options, such as movies and television shows, on devices including phones and tablets. The new wired option provides additional capabilities, including easy integration with Venue Cabin Management service to play content on bulkhead monitors and individual seat displays.
Jon Kounkel, director, Cabin Systems for Collins Aerospace stated: “By offering both wired and non-wired options we’re simplifying access to in-flight entertainment while providing customers with more flexibility.”
