Lufthansa Technik (LHT) announced a 50/50 joint venture with Austrian furniture maker List to launch Inairvation, a new option to create business aircraft cabin interiors.
The company will provide project management, design and installation of integrated cabins for private jets. Services include providing in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems, as well as interior design, plus wiring and lighting technology.
The product launch involved a mock up demonstrating integrated LED light, and contemporary furniture and fittings. The state of the art cabin management system (CMS), comprises IFE apps on integrated screens. LHT supplies the nice HD CMS, while List provides the components and high-end cabin furniture, such as monuments, galleys, and side ledges.
Joint CEO’s are LHT’s Dr Philip von Schroeter and List’s Werner Kartner. The move forms part of Lufthansa Technik’s intention to raise the bar with its interior offerings.
