EAD Aerospace, an Eclipse company, has achieved an EASA STC for the A330-200/300 and A340-200/300 families for a Honeywell JetWave installation.

The certification follows similar STCs for A319, A320/A321neo and ceo series aircraft.

This STC – which is also an EASA AML-STC (Approved Model List Supplemental Type Certificate) – is using the latest generation of EAD Aerospace Satcom Universal Mounting System (SUMS). SUMS has been developed, designed and manufactured in France since 2014 for various aircraft types including A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, B777, and B747 (which is pending).

“By receiving these new STCs, Eclipse and EAD Aerospace are proud to achieve a new milestone as one of the leading distributors of Inmarsat airtime services,” said Marc Pinault, CEO of Eclipse/EAD Aerospace.
