digEcor and Jamco Aero Design and Engineering (JADE) have formed a partnership aiming to drive more efficient retrofits.
Announced at the Future Travel Experience Asia Expo in Singapore, JADE’s structural, electrical and systems engineering experience will play a key role in retrofitting aircraft with digEcor’s Cabin Technology products in the Asia Pacific region.
The first project for the partners will be to retrofit a B777 aircraft with digEcor’s Passenger Services Solution.
digEcor chief executive, David Withers, commented: “The modular and integrated solution is not only cost effective for the airline, but ergonomic and easy to use for passengers.”
On the partnership he said: “JADE is a strong player in the Asia Pacific region and has years of Airbus and Boeing aircraft cabin modification and engineering services experience.”
JADE general manager, Desmond Ong said he looks forward to building the relationship and evolving the APAC Cabin Configuration Programme with digEcor.
Stu McGraw, digEcor’s regional sales manager – Asia Pacific commented: “Whilst we have worked on retrofit programs both independently and through integrators previously, this partnership with JADE increases the amount of opportunities available to both partners – good news for us all.”
