digEcor and GuestLogix have set up an agreement to integrate the latter’s OnTouch technology and merchandising platform with digEcor’s digEplayer product family.
Both companies claim that the collaboration will result in “the most comprehensive onboard retail, communications and entertainment offering available for passengers.”
With the new agreement, GuestLogix and digEcor will help airlines develop profitable in-flight programmes through a set of offerings that includes: merchandising, advertising, gaming, movies, TV shows, music, and device rental that produce recurring revenue streams. The combined offering can be selectively programmed for specific flights and classes of travel to enhance service and profitability.
